Storage Temperature
Colorful yellow tomatoes are an attractive addition to mixed crisp lettuce greens, red tomatoes and black olives. Excellent added to pasta dishes, pasta salads, casseroles, baked with garlic or made into salsa, the lovely yellow tomato adds its own distinct mild flavor. For flavor and color, toss tomato chunks in stir-fries the last few minutes of cooking; cook until just heated through. Its hardy skin makes the sturdy yellow tomato perfect for stuffing. Scatter seasonings and fresh herbs on slices for a tasty side dish. Enhance flavor with parsley, dill weed, basil, curry, mint, bay leaves, oregano, chili powder, thyme and garlic. Use as edible garnish. For best flavor, do not refrigerate tomatoes.
